Henricus:the new series

Henricus of Brunon was once a proud knight in the service of the Count of Toggenburg. But at the ancestral seat on Mount Idda, he lost everything—his beloved Isalda, the Count’s youngest daughter, and with her, his honor. Cast out and disgraced, he wandered the land as a mercenary, driven by anger and pain.

 

At the Battle of Morgarten in 1315, he fought beside the Swiss Confederates and witnessed death and madness sweep across the field. Amid the horror, he recognized the futility of killing. That very night, he laid down his sword and swore to wield it henceforth only in the service of good.

 

Since then, Henricus has roamed the young Swiss lands as a solitary wanderer—a fighter against evil, armed not only with courage and faith, but with wisdom. His battles are no longer against men, but against the dark forces that lurk in the shadows.
