Synopsis
Emergency: Inspector Böhler is urgently summoned by Remo K. and saves his life just in time. Likely a case of meat poisoning. But who’s responsible for the spoiled meat? A supplier? The restaurateurs? Could it even be the work of a die-hard FCZ hater?
All incidents occurred in working-class taverns near Letzigrund Stadium.
Main Characters
Inspector Franz Böhler – gruff, headstrong, trench coat-wearing like Maigret, 60 years old, “old school,” enjoys playing Jass in the Butcher’s Hall.
Assistant Fridolin “The Glarner” Blumer – cheerful, just under 30, adored by the police assistants, rides a Vespa.
Jasmin Keller – smart and tech-savvy, new to the team since the Caliente Affair.
Gloria Meyer – new head of forensics, clever, young, beautiful, and Fridolin Blumer’s partner.

Hans – a childhood friend of Böhler
Remo K. – regular at the Butcher’s Hall, FCZ fan, Böhler’s Jass buddy
