Synopsis


A student meets his end at platform 18. Accident or murder? An asylum seeker is accused—rightly or wrongly? Inspector Böhler and his team wade into the murky morass of deportations at the State Secretariat for Migration (SEM). Heartless people profit from the suffering of the innocent. Böhler takes up the fight and deploys entirely new methods, thanks to the help of a courageous journalist, his assistant Jasmin, and IT specialist Wendelin Kellerhals.

  • Inspector Franz Böhler—gruff, headstrong, wears a trench coat like Maigret; 60 years old; “old school”; enjoys playing Jass at the Metzgerhalle.

  • Assistant Fridolin “Glarner” Blumer—cheerful by nature, just over 30, a favorite with the female police assistants—rides a Vespa.

  • Jasmin Keller—assistant; smart and tech-savvy; new to the team since the Caliente affair.

  • Gloria Meyer—new head of forensics; clever, young, beautiful; partner of Fridolin Blumer.
